Some really inspiring quotes....

This are some poems I founded on "Point of retreat" and "This Girl" that I think are really inspiring and meaningful for a lot of people....

This one made me laugh alot, but it really touched me how much meaning it has and how true it is.

Butterfly.
What a beautiful word
What a delicate creature.
Delicate like the cruel words that flow right out of your mouths and the food that flies right out of your hands…
Does it make you feel better?
Does it make you feel good ?
Does picking on a girl make you more of a man?
Well, I’m standing up for myself
Like I should have done before
I’m not putting up with your Butterfly anymore."
(Kiersten slides the sack off her wrist and opens it, pulling out a handful of hand-made butterflies. She takes the microphone out of the stand and begins walking down the stairs as she continues speaking.)
“I’d like to extend to others what others have extended to me.”
(She walks up to Mrs. Brill first and holds out a butterfly)
“Butterfly you, Mrs. Brill.”
(Mrs. Brill smiles at her and takes the butterfly out of her hands. Lake laughs out loud and I have to nudge her to get her to be quiet. Kiersten walks around the room, passing out butterflies to several of the students, including the three from the lunchroom.)
“Butterfly you, Mark.
Butterfly you, Brendan.
Butterfly you, Colby.”
(When she finishes passing out the butterflies, she walks back onto the stage and places the microphone back into the stand.)
“I have one thing to say to you
And I’m not referring to the bullies
Or the ones they pursue.
I’m referring to those of you that just stand by
The ones who don’t take up for those of us that cry
Those of you who just…turn a blind eye.
After all it’s not you it’s happening to
You aren’t the one being bullied
And you aren’t the one being rude
It isn’t your hand that’s throwing the food
But…it is your mouth not speaking up
It is your feet not taking a stand
It is your arm not lending a hand
It is your heart
Not giving a damn.
So take up for yourself
Take up for your friends
I challenge you to be someone
Who doesn’t give in.
Don’t give in.
Don’t let them win.
Colleen Hoover, Point of Retreat

This next one is funny but for people like me that are hesitant to write and to just express your feelings HOWEVER you want. For disguised writers that think they- we- have to write perfectly, I hope it helps

This poem is very long
So long, in fact, that your attention span
May be stretched to its very limits
But that’s okay
It’s what’s so special about poetry
See, poetry takes time
We live in a time
Call it our culture or society
It doesn’t matter to me cause neither one rhymes
A time where most people don’t want to listen
Our throats wait like matchsticks waiting to catch fire
Waiting until we can speak
No patience to listen

But this poem is long
It’s so long, in fact, that during the time of this poem
You could’ve done any number of other wonderful things
You could’ve called your father
Call your father
You could be writing a postcard right now
Write a postcard
When was the last time you wrote a postcard?
You could be outside
You’re probably not too far away from a sunrise or a sunset
Watch the sun rise
Maybe you could’ve written your own poem
A better poem
You could have played a tune or sung a song
You could have met your neighbor
And memorized their name
Memorize the name of your neighbor
You could’ve drawn a picture
(Or, at least, colored one in)
You could’ve started a book
Or finished a prayer
You could’ve talked to God
Pray
When was the last time you prayed?
Really prayed?

This is a long poem
So long, in fact, that you’ve already spent a minute with it
When was the last time you hugged a friend for a minute?
Or told them that you love them?
Tell your friends you love them

…no, I mean it, tell them

Say, I love you

Say, you make life worth living
Because that, is what friends do
Of all of the wonderful things that you could’ve done
During this very, very long poem
You could have connected
Maybe you are connecting
Maybe we’re connecting
See, I believe that the only things that really matter
In the grand scheme of life are God and people
And if people are made in the image of God
Then when you spend your time with people
It’s never wasted
And in this very long poem
I’m trying to let a poem do what a poem does:
Make things simpler
We don’t need poems to make things more complicated
We have each other for that
We need poems to remind ourselves of the things that really matter
To take time
A long time
To be alive for the sake of someone else for a single moment
Or for many moments

Cause we need each other

To hold the hands of a broken person
All you have to do is meet a person
Shake their hand
Look in their eyes

They are you

We are all broken together
But these shattered pieces of our existence don’t have to be a mess
We just have to care enough to hold our tongues sometimes
To sit and listen to a very long poem
A story of a life
The joy of a friend and the grief of friend
To hold and be held
And be quiet

So, pray
Write a postcard
Call your parents and forgive them and then thank them
Turn off the TV
Create art as best as you can
Share as much as possible, especially money
Tell someone about a very long poem you once heard
And how afterward it brought you to them.

Point of retreat by Coleen Hoover

Reaction GIF: crying, Lacey Chabert, Mean GirlsAfter reading Slammed  you would think the worst is over...... Its not.....

This thing....... this book...... I will put it in the form of a poem..... it goes like this...... its called "I read a book"

I read a book
with 315 pages
I laughed
then I cried.
When I was done I laughed again.
About how amazing it was.
And then.....

I read a book
that not only kept me on edge
it thought me
that sometimes life gets in your way multiple times
that raising a child is not easy
that true love can be easily questioned
and that fake love
can
be
easily
seen.

I read a book
that showed me the importance in forgiveness
and thought me to not be stupid.
that love is forever
and cheating is always punished.

That there are 2 sides to every story
2 faces
2 worlds
2 lives.
And that every action
can lead to a chain reaction.

I'm so proud of this poem. You don't even know how long it took me to write it down. This is basically my review in the story. Liked it? No? Comment!!!
I love books and I hope you do too!!!

Slammed by Colleen Hoover

I completely adore this woman. I had forgotten how much I liked this series. Colleen knows how to transfer love into pages, and I absolutely loved the poetry typed in this book. Its so emotional and so freaking sweet. Its one of those  books you can actually feel your heart braking as if it where your own. It was just so amazingly beautiful, the writing was poetic..... I loved this.

Lake Cohen's dad just died. Now she is moving to another country, bitter, and angry. She is losing hope about everything. She thinks that this move would be the worst thing that ever happened to her..... How wrong she was. Enter Will Cooper, her neighbor. Now, seriously, this guy made me swoon, he make me question EVERYTHING I thought I knew about dead. About grief. About giving up life as you know it. Lake and Will have an instant connection that you don't just get with anyone. Its that once in a lifetime moment where you know inside, in your soul, that this person will change you. Their relationship is absolutely gorgeous. I fell in love with will but there where moments I wanted to punch him and be mad at him ...... but I just couldn't.

Their first date was butterflying beautiful!!!!! I was cheering  the whole time. It was so good and so cute and so sad and so funny. It was awesome. How he tells her about his parents and what happened to them in a poem was absolutely amazingly beautiful. How she tells him about her  parents its so..... tearfully amazing. In their first date they go to CLUB N9NE. This club is not a normal club that night. Its a slam club, That is what will is all about. Slamming. I KNOW! I BET YOUR THINKING "A HOT GUY THAT LIKES POETRY?" I was thinking the same thing. He is the most thoughtful person ever read about..... not really but in the top 10 him being #5.

Her mom was the sweetest, most hilarious mom character I ever read. She is so supportive and gives the most amazing advise you can get. I love how loving she was about Will and Caulder and how right she was about everything. She thought of everything..... I LOVED HER!!!!!!

Some advice she gave>>>>>>>>>>

Monday. This book thought me a lot of things, you want to know one of them? MONDAYS SUCK ASS!!!!!! Not saying anything else......

Seriously though.... why did it happened? IT BROKE MY HEART......but fixed it too!!!!

The poetry was bloody amazing. Colleen, are you sure you don't slam? Because you should. I mean, how good the poems where is.... well good.  I could seat her and gush about how good they were, or I could show you. I'll show you.

This book thought me that sometimes life is hard, but that doesn't mean you have to stop fighting against it. That sometimes, the most unexpected things in life happens that you cant avoid. That death is the only inevitable thing in life and that sometimes your not prepared for it. That sometimes its ok to talk backwards and to life your life however you want. I learned so much in 315 pages. GO READ IT!!!

I love books and I hope you do too!!!

Best night ever!!

You know what I mean........ I met Jamie McGuire!!!! *happy dance*

So yeah, I didn't asked her questions because there wasn't enough time, but I did record their talk... Its right here if you want to see it. They are so funny and so amazingly beautiful. Their voices are so soft... (Colleen). It was so weird because there was no one my age, so it felt a little awkward to be there, but still.... IT WAS AMAZING!

Jamie said  that she has a title for Thomas' story but have not release it yet. I WANT IT NOW!

No, but seriously. I think its amazing that she is doing this novel where we get to see everything through Thomas' eyes. so mysterious and stuff. Maybe there is a girl in the mix ;) I think it would be cool for Thomas to have a love interest, since he works...... you know where.

They were so nice to me even though I'm probably younger than their used to, It felt so nice.

Jamie's "Beautiful Disaster" was  my first contemporary novel, and without her I probably wouldn't even be writing this, so LETS HEAR IT FOR JAMIE.

They gave so much stuff, like a bag with their names and a button that says "I love Atria books" and the "love" its a heart shaped like a butterfly. It's so awesome. I also got lip gloss that says "Atria Books". Now every time I have dried lips I will remember this day!

I love books and I hope you do too!!!

Hottest books in my mind: Beautiful Disaster

I've been wanting to ramble about Beautiful disaster since forever so today I'm finally going to do it. YAYAYAYAYAY!!!!!

Beautiful disaster is a story about friendship, love, courage, and forgiveness. If you have read it and talk shit about this book in the comments, I am not responsible for the responses people will give you, remember, We are all  friends here!!! KK <3

Abby is trying to get away from her past and is trying to start again creating this image of a good girl. She is trying to get away from her family and start again away from the people who ones hurt her. One day she goes to a underground fight along with America, her best friend, who is dating Travis' cousin, Shepley. Abby gets a little to close to the inside of the fight and gets blood in her sweater. Then looks up and meets gorgeous green eyes. That's how she meets Travis. And that's where our story begins.

To say that she didn't liked his is an understatement, she stereotype him so hard it was almost insulting. She thought he was a womanizer with no respect for woman. But he wasn't, he was only a very hot guy with girls lining up to have sex with him. They knew the consequences but they would still do it. Travis was just a guy trying to survive and pass college. When Travis met Abby, his whole world turned upside down , and he did everything to get her. He stopped drinking, having random sex, things like that. But Abby, of course, was oblivious to that. Rewinding a little bit, to the begging we have the scenes where the boilers brake in Morgan Hall, where she lives. So she goes living with Travis. During that time, Abby starts to realize that maybe she was wrong about Travis, and In the process of that, she fells for him. When the boilers are fixed, Travis bets he would win his next fight and if he did she would live with him for a month. He wins the fight.

"The only thing I'm afraid of is a life without you, Pigeon." I leaned up, kissing his lips tenderly. When our mouths parted, I smiled. "Then you have nothing to be afraid of. We're forever.”  ― Jamie McGuire, Beautiful Disaster

This book makes you happy, sad, crazy, and it gives you little shivers while reading it.

That's the end of the rambling!!!!
I AM SOOOOO EXCITED CAUSE TOMORROW IM GOING TO FINALLY MEET JAMIE MCGUIRE AND THAT IS THE BEST THING EVER!!!!! COMMENT YOUR QUESTIONS BELOW FOR ME TO ASK HER.

Losing Hope!!! (dont read if you have'nt read Hopeless)

Losing hope is kind of a closure for some people. Like me. I didn't felt like I got the sufficient closure you get whenever someone finishes a stand alone. I didn't got that, WOW! feeling. Don't get me wrong, I freaking loved Hopeless,  and I would read it again without a problem. What I'm saying is that I didn't quite got that feeling of I finally understand everything.

In Hopeless, Sky left no secret unearthed, no feeling unshared, and no memory forgotten, but Holder’s past remained a mystery.

Still haunted by the little girl he let walk away, Holder has spent his entire life searching for her in an attempt to finally rid himself of the crushing guilt he has felt for years. But he could not have anticipated that the moment they reconnect, even greater remorse would overwhelm him…

Sometimes in life, if we wish to move forward, we must first dig deep into our past and make amends. In Losing Hope, bestselling author Colleen Hoover reveals what was going on inside Holder’s head during all those hopeless moments—and whether he can gain the peace he desperately needs.

Losing hope gives you that. It gives you the understanding of why Holden did the things he did. We know what he was looking for and why he was the way he was. We finally understand Less, we get more information about her and why she killed herself. We understand why Holden disappears for a month and why he freaks about the bracelet. Little details like that makes you see things clearer and when I finally finished, I got the WOW! feeling. It was so awesome seeing everything through Holden's eyes. I specially liked the part where he finally tells her his true feeling for her but that he didn't loved her because what he felt was deeper than that. I swear I got tears in my eyes....

“...And I'm not ready to tell you I'm in love with you, because I'm not. Not yet. But whatever this I'm feeling - it's so much more than like...And for the past few weeks I've been trying to figure it out. I've been trying to figure out why there isn't some word to describe it. I want to tell you exactly how I feel but there isn't a single goddamned word in the entire dictionary that can describe this point between liking you and loving you, but I need that word..."
"Living,"she finally whispers.
"I live you, Sky...I live you so much.”
Colleen Hoover, Losing Hope

What I really liked about Holden is that he is a real guy. He feels. Have you noticed in most of the books, the main hero never even shreds a tear, but I love that Holden does. I love that he lets himself feel and let go around Sky. That he is man enough to admit that he hurts and he is not ashamed to do it. I love that he still talks to less even though she was dead. I think those scenes of him writing to her were the scenes I enjoyed the most. I got tears in the last letter, where Holder reads the letter less leaves him explain why she did what she did. It broke my heart and shred it to little pieces.

A/N: TOMORROW FRIDAY I WILL BE GOING TO A BOOK SIGNING WITH COLLEEN HOOVER, ABBI GLINES, AND JAMIE MCGUIRE. IF IM BRAVE ENOUGH, I WILL ASK THEM QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS BOOKS AND THEIR PREVIOUS STORIES. COMMENT BELOW THE YOUR QUESTIONS FOR  ME TO ASK THEM!!

Hopeless

By looking at the tittle you can imagine that this is an unusual post.

This review started with only one book. Losing Hope. But I wanted to talk about hopeless, because that book makes me happy. Hopeless is by far my favorite contemporary I have read. This story its maybe, a little bit better than "Beautiful Disaster". It was so real, experiencing what happened with her, and to top it with the character, this book is a ticking bomb, just sitting in bookstores, waiting for someone to pick it up and read it.
Because you want to read it. The cover is one of the kind that talks to you, the one that you keep staring and it feels like its just saying "Come on, buy me"  and you just want to resisted but you can't. In the end you end up buying it and experience Sky's story.

This was me reading the book.

Happy
Shocked
Happy again
Shocked again.
Happy tears
Flustered
Wierded out
Sad tears
Heart Broken
Sad but Shocked
Happy and satsfied
Waiting for the next book.

It was a really emotional book. Lots of twisted stuff. Happy ending. It was sweet and it gave you the feeling you get when you know that this book will be your best friend forever.  I got the same feeling with Vampire Academy and Beautiful Disaster, but I cant really compare it with those two, because they are two completely diferent genres. Anyway, if know about books like this, feel free to comment it in the box. I HAVE NO TIME. MY NEXT CLASS IS SOON!! CRAP. I'll grap this up with the pic and the summary. Look for Losing Hope later.

Sometimes discovering the truth can leave you more hopeless than believing the lies…

That’s what seventeen-year-old Sky realizes after she meets Dean Holder. A guy with a reputation that rivals her own and an uncanny ability to invoke feelings in her she’s never had before. He terrifies her and captivates her all in the span of just one encounter, and something about the way he makes her feel sparks buried memories from a past that she wishes could just stay buried.

Sky struggles to keep him at a distance knowing he’s nothing but trouble, but Holder insists on learning everything about her. After finally caving to his unwavering pursuit, Sky soon finds that Holder isn’t at all who he’s been claiming to be. When the secrets he’s been keeping are finally revealed, every single facet of Sky’s life will change forever.

I hope you want to read it!!!!

Days of Blood and Starlight!

HIIII!!!!! I have wanted to do that since forever!!

This book was a little slower than the first one, I don't know if it's because it's longer or has more info, but it felt definitely slower.
Karou frustrated me SOOO much in these book. I felt like she was a little too stubborn for my patience. Like in the last part, when they see each other again, I literally got tears in  my eyes for Avika. You just don't say stuff like that to the person you love, She was so cruel and.... I just... I WAS SOOOO FREKING MAD!
We saw a very different sides of our main characters. We saw the sharper, braver side to Karou and a much sensitive side of Avika. And, I guess we saw them in their natural environment..... Like, their homes. Its really interesting how much you learn in this book, but it got annoying. I would give this book a 3.5, just because of how long and frustrating it was.

SUMMARY!!!!

Once upon a time, an angel and a devil fell in love and dared to imagine a world free of bloodshed and war.

This is not that world.

Art student and monster's apprentice Karou finally has the answers she has always sought. She knows who she is—and what she is. But with this knowledge comes another truth she would give anything to undo: She loved the enemy and he betrayed her, and a world suffered for it.

In this stunning sequel to the highly acclaimed Daughter of Smoke & Bone, Karou must decide how far she'll go to avenge her people. Filled with heartbreak and beauty, secrets and impossible choices, Days of Blood & Starlight finds Karou and Akiva on opposing sides as an age-old war stirs back to life.

While Karou and her allies build a monstrous army in a land of dust and starlight, Akiva wages a different sort of battle: a battle for redemption. For hope.

But can any hope be salvaged from the ashes of their broken dream?

Missed Blogs

I'm sorry I haven't posted anything, but tomorrow is Saturday, so I'm sure tomorrow I will catch up. This week I finished "Days of Blood and Starlight" and "Losing Hope" and they are both the second books to series. I will post the reviews tomorrow like I said, but if I don't, Sunday definetly. I'm SOOO sorry! Here are the covers if you want to check them out
This one Is the 1st book in the hopeless series. It's really good if you like dramatic, intenseful romance.

This is the one I finished today. It's told from Dean's POV. If you read Beautiful disaster series, you maybe know what I'm talking about.

This is the first book of the "Daughter of Smoke and Bone" series. You can check my review over this book here http://fantabks.blogspot.com/2013/10/daughter-of-smoke-and-bone.html?m=1 if you want to check it out and discuss, or just read it for the hell of it! Read it! It's really good!!

Finally, this is the second book in the series of "Daughter of Smoke and bone" Took me a little more time, I wasn't that into the book. Like, the first part is confusing as hell, but once you get used to all the info your getting and kind of knowing what's going on, you go through it preety quickly. Unfortunately, they stop giving you info at half of the book, so yeah. But it's worth your time, has good paranormal and it makes you THINK. It makes you stop, and question everything you THOUGHT you knew, when you actually didn't knew anything. What I didn't liked, or maybe frustrated is a better word, is Karou stubborn attitude!!!

So, I finally stoped rambaling. I will post the reviews this weekend and then on Monday I will post the "Hottie of the week" but I'm leaning towards Holder from "Hopeless"

I love books and I hope you do to!
Bye!!!

Daughter of smoke and bone!!!

Its been a while since I read a paranormal with as much drama this has! It blew my mind! Alot of people said it was really good, but i never thought it was this good! Im not putting a spoiler review because I really want everyone to enjoy and read this! Its worth your time if you are a paranormal/drama/romance junki (I am!). The next part will be the synopsis and then my review and my description! I just cant stop smiling; its been a while since I read a paranormal and I seriously think this was a good return for me!!!

Around the world, black handprints are appearing on doorways, scorched there by winged strangers who have crept through a slit in the sky.

In a dark and dusty shop, a devil’s supply of human teeth grown dangerously low.

And in the tangled lanes of Prague, a young art student is about to be caught up in a brutal otherwordly war.

Meet Karou. She fills her sketchbooks with monsters that may or may not be real, she’s prone to disappearing on mysterious "errands", she speaks many languages - not all of them human - and her bright blue hairactually grows out of her head that color. Who is she? That is the question that haunts her, and she’s about to find out.

When beautiful, haunted Akiva fixes fiery eyes on her in an alley in Marrakesh, the result is blood and starlight, secrets unveiled, and a star-crossed love whose roots drink deep of a violent past. But will Karou live to regret learning the truth about herself?

Is'nt it awesome?! I just love this book, i think all paranormal should be like this, and before you ask, nope, VA still #1. Always and Forever! There was so much action and I loved the way the book made you think, you know? How its not just there, telling you, and it keeps you guessing! The way we moved from both point of views and the way it made me feel everything. And, at the end you are kind of like, OMG! I got it! The ending is beautiful, and I actually have the 2nd book sitting in front of me, waiting for me to open it!

So yeah, its been a good week, hasn't it? I finished 3 of my october challenges!!!!!!! I am so proud of myself, but I still have 2 more books to finish, but I'm sure that i will, I belive in me! Nevermind, I meant 3, i still have 3 more challenges to finish, Wish me Luck! 😓

Falling Into Us

Falling into us is basically Jason and Becca's story. Its the building on this amazing relationship. I honestly liked this one better than "Falling into You" for various reasons;

1) It was longer. I feel like Falling into you was not properly developed and with this one we kind of get closure and we get the full details of their love. You can understand where the depth of their love comes from and you can feel their emotions a lot better

2)Better Characters. I feel like in Falling into you we didn't get really good characters except for Cole. I honestly didn't like Kyle, and I only stared liking Nell when she starts to tell Cole her problems. I felt like there was no reason for her to NOT tell him.

This book is honestly one of my best contemporary read since beautiful disaster. I loved the development of this story and how much deeper we got into their lives. God, I loved the way Jason and Becca started, and how they ended. You could just tell there is love between them. They had such a grate relationship, and I feel.....GOD I LOVE THIS <3 This is going to sound sooooo messed up of me but I honestly loved her dad. He was such an awkward character, so strict, but so sweet at the same time. Now, to Jason. AHHHH Jason. *swoon* The best thing about him was that, even though he didn't loved Becca at the beginning, he learned to love her which in my opinion, is what real love is made from. He was so sweet and caring, beautiful, and so cute!!! He is also my "Hottie of the Week". I loved when the thing in April happened, he was so patient with Becca and so loving. HE WAS AMAZING!!!

Spoiler Section__________________________________________________________________

We starting were Jason asks Nell out. He is nervous and being adorable, and we all know Nell says yes. Jason is all excited because he had a crush on Nell since forever, and she finally said yes! But when he finally picks her up, she cancels saying that she is with Kyle and all that. But then, Nell tells Jason to ask Becca out. That she has had a crush on him since the 7th grade and she would be psyched to go with him (What A Bitch) He doesn't think is such a bad idea, but doubts it.  Next chapter Is Becca, doing her homework, writing poetry, and suddenly her phone rings. She answers to find Jason on the other line, nervously asking her to dinner. He says that since he has a reservation at Bravos and Nell didn't went, he was wondering if she was available. She, of course, was furious. How dare he! Asking her out like that, like she was the second choice. She was hurt that Jason would think of her as a second choice, but accepts to dinner, with the condition that he would explain. Becca's parents are really strict, like, REALLY strict, so she has to lie to them to go with Jason. When she is finally in the restaurant, she pushes him to tell her why he would invite her as a second choice. He says that Nell suggested and he thought it wasn't such a bad idea. That the only reason he asked Nell out was because of his friends, because he bet that he would. Over the date, they start learning little things about each other. The pressure in Becca's shoulders and The abuse at Jason's house.
At the end of he date, they just drive around, listening to music, until she saw the time and realized that she was late for the check-in with her dad ( I know right? ) But she gets away with it by telling her dad that Nell and her were watching a movie and didn't saw the time. Luckily her dad bought it!!!
Months later, Jason sees Becca and asks her why shes been distant with him. She tells him that its just been a lot of work and homework and her classes are far away. Jason, worrying that she was avoiding him, is relieved. They joke around and talk and being all cute and then they kiss oblivious about the love story they have ahead!

This is challenge #2!!! In 3-4 days i read 2 challenges!!! Yayayayya!!!

That's all for today!!!

Falling into you

I have just finished falling into us, and that means now I'm doing a review YAY!!!

To be honest, it was better than I expected. I will post the blurb below this if you want to read it and if you have read it, or just finished it or whatever, go below so you can discuss it with me!!!!

I wasn't always in love with Colton Calloway; I was in love with his younger brother, Kyle, first. Kyle was my first one true love, my first in every way.
Then, one stormy August night, he died, and the person I was died with him.

Colton didn't teach me how to live. He didn't heal the pain. He didn't make it okay. He taught me how to hurt, how to not be okay, and, eventually, how to let go

There you have it! This book does content explicit content so if you get easily uncomfortable with that kind of stuff, I recommend you NOT to read it.

Warning: Review contains high spoilers and I know how much it sucks to be spoiled.

The book starts with Nell describing us her friendship with Kyle. They grew up right next to each other, and were best friends all their lives. Were born to days apart. Their relationship is really a "best-friend liking each other so they date". How they start dating is really ironic. Turns out this guy named Jason asks her out so she tells Kyle. Kyle, of course, is not happy so he tells her not to go out with him. (Don't hate me Kyle-lovers, but I really thought Kyle was so bossy. Don't get me wrong, he was sweet and everything, but I felt like she couldn't decide what to do with her life that DIDNT involve Kyle in it) Kyle starts to tell Nell how much he'd always want her, and that it was unimaginable to think of her with another guy. To this, Nell responds that she couldn't think of her with another guy either. Out of the blue, she asks if she could borrow his phone (Beautiful Disaster lovers, I know you fangirled over this, DONT LIE) She calls Jason-who is Kyle's best friend- and tells him she is not going out with him anymore. Then they kiss. And kiss. And kiss.

We skip 2 months later, where she is thinking whether or not to have SEX with Kyle, what she didn't know was that Kyle had already rented  a hotel room. Without her concern. WHO DOES THAT? (Its V-Day BTW ) Later that night after dinner she decides she is ready so they have sex.

Jump 2 years later, they are eighteen. They finally are "adults" and their parents give them permission to go have a hot weekend away. Then one night  there is a really big storm, and they are in their car, going inside. But not before Kyle pops the WYMM (will you marry me) bomb. Surprised, she gets out of the car. She says no. She says its too soon and that they needed time, that they would marry, but not right now. Right at that moment , lightning struck, and it hit the branch right above her, but as it was about to hit her, Kyle tackles her out of the way, and takes the hit instead. As he died, she cried, and suffered. He dies in her arms and it kills her.
At the funeral, she barely talks, barely survives, and then she meets Colton. He is your typical don't-mess-with-me kind of guy, but with Nell he is gentle and she guiltily realizes that with Colton, she feels at home.

Yay!!! I finished my first October Challenge book. Now the next one that is "Falling into us". I didn't realized it was so bug until I saw it. (oops, that sounded wrong)

I will leave you now!!! I'm sleepy!!
I love books and I hope you do to

5) Opposition (sometime next year :()

Now I will ramble to you what this awesome Lux series is all about  and how it changed me  (Warning: May contain spoilers, if you have not read this series and want to, please skip this paragraph with pink and red font, because I will talk and talk and talk about it, ALOT) (Opinion Red Review Pink)

LETS BEGIN!! I discovered Obsidian in the summer of 2012, and to be honest, it was accidental. I was bored and was just looking through books when came across this baby.....

I'm pretty sure you can imagine my face :) And when I read the synopsis, I just knew this would a hit for me, and it was!!! Ended up being my 2nd favorite series (1st one being VA) Now I will ramble about this awesomeness we have in front of our faces.....
Lets start with obsidian, shall we? Obsidian is the beginning of this grate adventure that Daemon and Katy has together as a couple, however, they didn't always liked each other very much. They basically hated each others guts, and wanted to kill each other 80% of the time they were alone (allot of sexual frustration in book 1) Katy just moved to Middle of Nowhere, West Virginia, her dad had dies 2 years ago from cancer, and  she is completely saddened by the fact that they no longer live in Florida, where her dad grew up and spend all his childhood. She still has her books, so that's a plus, and this really cool chick lives Dee right next door and she was her age!!!It wasn't that bad.  Then she met daemon.
Lets just pause for a second to describe you your main characters, ok? First we have Katy, and she would be our typical human who doesn't know anything about it, until she sees it. Then everything changes. We are introduced to the Lux world, and a luxen is an alien. Yep, this book Is a sci-fi. Surprised? I feel you, man. They are made out of light and can only be hurt with a special kind of rock call Onyx. They can move super fast, control energy and cool stuff like that. They came to earth about 13 years ago and the DOD (government) caught them. Basically, the D0D controls the luxen's existence on earth, so whatever you do, don't mess with them! The luxen don't get involve with humans in anyway because they believe they would just be an inconvenience and they also have to remain hidden from humans. Daemon had a brother named Dawson, and he fell in love with a human, and one day they just never came back . When Katy moved next door, Daemon's sister immediately  befriends her, so of course daemon freaked. He refused to loose his sister to a human once again. So he starts being a dick. He starts to basically bully Katy and stuff, but like daemon, she was stubborn, so it didn't worked. Later in the book, like in the middle, Daemon is trying to convince Katy to stop hanging out with Dee, but, of course she refuses. When she starts walking- running- away, she ends up in a rode, with a truck coming right at her. She was expecting to die, but what she didn't expect was for the truck to freeze. With no option but to tell her the truth, Daemon tells Kay he is a luxen, a being of light. But that's not all. Apparently, where there are luxen, there are arums. Arums where the opposite of Luxens. They were merciless sons of bitches who only care about themselves. It turned out that the guy that attack was one of them- Arum. To topped the ice cream with a cherry, she is flashing light all around her like a flashlight. Apparently, when a luxen uses "The Source" around humans, they live marks, that kind of flashes around us. This would be an interesting year.

I really like this series and I hope that when they make the movie, they put Pepe Toth for daemon.(The dude in the cover) I like the girl for Katy, I would say her name but I have no Idea how to spell it. SORRY.

Here is the book trailer for obsidian

Synopsis to the series will be posted below. If you want to read it, and have questions, please feel free to ask, and remember to tell your friends about it!!!

St. Vladimir’s Academy isn’t just any boarding school—it’s a hidden place where vampires are educated in the ways of magic and half-human teens train to protect them. Rose Hathaway is a Dhampir, a bodyguard for her best friend Lissa, a Moroi Vampire Princess. They’ve been on the run, but now they’re being dragged back to St. Vladimir’s—the very place where they’re most in danger...

Rose and Lissa become enmeshed in forbidden romance, the Academy’s ruthless social scene, and unspeakable nighttime rituals. But they must be careful lest the Strigoi—the world’s fiercest and most dangerous vampires—make Lissa one of them forever.

                                                               SPOILER SECTION

Ok! So if you are reading this I REALLY hope you have read the book and at least know what is going to happen in these series and if you are one of those people who- and don't roll your eyes or anything because sometimes, and I mean for EVERYONE- even me- that we would investigate a book and want to read the spoiler section just to know what happens or have a warning. DONT BE ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE!!! It sucks to be spoiled, trust me, and I really don't want to spoil you, so please, one last warning GET AWAY FROM HERE!!!!
                                                               REAL SPOILER SECTION

CHARACTERS

ROSE - BADASS WARRIOR WHO WOULD DO ANYTHING TO PROTECT THE PEOPLE SHE LOVES. I JUST LOVE HOW SHE FIGHTS AND DOESNT GIVE A F'''K ABOUT WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THINK OF HER! I LOVE HER PERSONALITY AND THE WAY SHE CAN TURN ANY UNCOMFORTABLE, AWEKARD SITUATION INTO A REALLY FUNNY MOMENT. I LOVE HER RELATIONSHIP WITH DIMITRI, LIKE WHEN THEY ARE TRAINING AND THEY SEEM TO UNDERTAND EACH OTHER THROUGH LOOKS BETWEEN THEM. I LOVE HOW SHE WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR LISSA, EVEN IF IT ENDANGERS HER. I LOVE HOW SHE FIGHTS. I JUST LOVED THE WAY SHE FIGHTED NATALIE IN THE LAST SCENE. WHEN NATALIE JUST APPEARS AS AN STRIGOI, IT WAS JUST DO MINDBLOWING.

LISSA- I REALLY LIKE LISSA BUT IN THE MIDDLE, WHEN ROSE TOLD DIMITRI ABOUT HER SELFHARM, HOW SHE TURNED AGAINS HER WHEN ROSE WENT THROUGH EVERYSINGLE SHIT SHE HAD IN THE PAST TWO YEARS, HOW ROSE WAS ONLY TRYING TO PROTECT HER REALLY DIDNT SUIT WITH ME. I WAS RELLY MAD AT HER AND HOW SHE STARTED NEGLECTING CHRISTIAN EVEN THOUGH SHE SUSPECTED THE THRUTH, ALL FOR IMAGE? I THOUGHT IT WS A VERY CRAPPY THING TO DO. WHAT REALLY ANOYED ME ABOUT HER (remember we are just talking about book 1, I adore lissa's character even if she sometimes gets in my nerves) IS THAT SHE KEPT TRYING TO BE LIKE HER BROTHER, WHEN THAT MEANT HAVING TO HANG OUT WITH THE MOST ANNOYING CROUD, USING SPIRIT AND HAVING TO IGNORE CHRISTIAN, BUT WHEN SHE FINALLY CAME TO HER SENCES IN THE FINAL SCENE WHEN VICTOR KIDNAPS HER TO HEAL HIM, I WAS FEELING REALLY SORRY FOR HER....

DIMITRI- DIMITRI IS THE HOT TRAINER ROSE GETS. IT ALL STARTED IN THE SCENE WHERE THEY ARE DEBATING WHETHER OR NOT THEY WERE GOING TO KICK HER OUT OF ST. VLADIMIR, AND THAT WHEN DIMITRI COMES IN AND SAYS "Then give her extra sessions" AND THAT IS THE BEGGINING OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL RELACIONSHIP IN THESE SERIES. THEY START TRAINING TOGETHER IN THE MORNINGS AND AFTERNOONS, AND AT FIRST IT WAS A LITTLE STRAINED BECASE DIMITRI IS NOT THE TYPE OF PERSON THAT SMILES VERY OFTEN. HE'S VERY SERIOUS AND PROFESSIONAL, BUT WHEN YOU REALLY GET TO KNOW HIM, HE IS VERY FUNNY AND CHARISISMATIC. DIMITRI FALLS FOR ROSE BECAUSE HE SEES SOMETHING IN HER THAT HE RARELY SEES ON OTHER GUARDIANS, HE SEES THAT ROSE WOULD DO ANYTHING TO PROTECT LISSA, AND HE ADMIRES HER FOR THAT. THEIR RELASHIONSHIP GREW AS THE SERIES WENT ON, BUT IN THIS ONE, ITS JUST BASICALLY THE EXPLANATION OF WHY DIMITRI IS DIMITRI. I REALLY LIKE HIM BECAUSE HE HELPS ROSE AND YOU NOTICE HE ADORES HIS FAMILY, EVEN AS AN STRIGOI.

I'm going to leave you alone now, I know its a long review, and ill be doing random reviews every now and then to gush about some of my favorite books/series.

Ill leave you with this amazing trailer!!!!

Hey!!!

This is my first time doing this, so I'm just going to give a brief description of myself and what I'll be blogging about.

First thing you should know is that I'm very busy with school. I'm going to forget this and I apologize for that. I like to read a lot, so I'm basically will just ramble or/and gush about books. You can sent me recommendations of any books u think I might like. I read anything, except historical fiction.

I am very picky about my books. I only like an specific type of genres. (You can find them in the "About me" box)

I don't like the library. I don't like that if I go for a book, and its not there, I have to wait. I like my books, when I like, when I want, and when I please. The three important W's.

I am currently reading "Opal" by Jennifer L. Armertrout and If you are not familiar with this writer, go check her out, she is amazing!!!
