Kiro's Emily by Abbi Glines *One More Chance spoilers*

Kiro's Emily is this one story that just sticks with you. I read read this yesterday and I just couldn't. Stop. Crying. As you know...... Or you may not know, Emily is Harlows mother. In One More Chance we are introduced to Kiro as a father and at the end we find out that Harlow's mother is not dead, but is paralyzed from an accident that had happened when Harlow was a baby. This story, however, is about more than that. Kiro's Emily tells the story of how Kiro and Emily first met to the accident, and all the events that happened in between. The whole story is such a heartbreaking story, because Abbi Glines has a talent of making us feel what the characters are feeling. So the ending completely distroyed me. I wont give any good moments away. I will say that if you read the Rosemary series, this story is one that you won't want to miss. This story makes you, in a way, understand just how much Kiro loved Emily. In One More Chance we get a pretty good idea of how much he does but reading from his POV and feeling what he felt the moment he got that phone call? I won't forget that moment. Kiro and Emily weren't just in love. They were soulmates. They were the perfect couple and for them to have such cruel fate? I just think its really unfair.

I love books and I hope you do too!

TOP 10 BOOK FAVORITES OF 2014! CONGRATULATIONS!

This will be my top 10 of the series that made my 2014. This are series that I still remember and therefore made an impression on me. This are series that I recommend totally and without a doubt to anyone. What are yours? *Sneaky Smile*

Number 1....... The Addicted series by Krista and Becca Ritchie

We all saw this coming. In my lifetime I've yet to read a contemporary that is this magnificent. This series legit changed me. I've never read such amazing writing, and never cried harder than with Krista and Becca. I hope they write for a long time because I am always going to read whatever they write. You won a fan this year!

Number 2....... Kingdom Series by Marie Hall

This series made me so happy. It brought back in a way all the memories I had as a child. I loved the fairy tale twist and the way it's such a quick but amazing read. I gave each book in this series 5 stars and I finished all of it in a day. And even though there's a lot of books, it doesn't feel like a lot. It feels like you're going through a never ending story that you never want it to end. I would definitely recccomend this to anyone. Amazing job!

Number 3......... Just one day by Gale Forman

This book....... It certainly left an impresion on me. The story was going so so good and the plot was just amazing. I loved the dynamic between this characters. But I don't get the ending. That was my problem with this story. And even though I wouldn't necessarily recommend this to anyone, it's one of my favorites this year because it opened my eyes to good writing and to an amazing story.

Number 4....... Temptation series by Ella Frank

THIS SERIES WAS SO AMAZING I SWEAR. The series is not over yet but so far this series left a mark on me that will never go away. In the summer of 2014 I was in a book hump, and desperately needed a salvation. So when I found this book, I was hesitant, since M/M smut was never my thing...... Well I was wrong. Turns out M/M is so my thing. I loved it, and it was even better than a contemporary that you would normally read. The sex was so steamy I had to pause sometimes to catch my breath. The angst left you drowning in you're own tears. And Tate and Logan did everything in their power to make sure I wanted to be with them even tho it will never happen. I gave this books a 55555555555% because of delirious endings.

Number 5......... The Dark Elements by Jennifer L Armenstraut

As you may know, I'm a super duper JLA fan. I love all her writing and always welcome more. So when I found out White Hot Kiss was coming out this year, I completely freaked. I preordered it and started coping because this would be the main series now that Lux is over. And it reached my expectations. It was amazing and the romance was never a moment disappointing. JLA writting makes me happy, and this series and the characters certainly did. Loved it!

Number 6....... Opposition by Jennifer L Armenstraut

I was so sad when this book came out because it's the last book in the lux series. I started this series back in 2013and when Origin came out I reread the first 3. Then thus one came out and I sobbed. Why? Because it meant my favorite series in the whole wide world would never get another book. I will never be able to go to the bookstore in search of that precious Lux book. And I cry because of that. But the book was perfection. It was beyond anything I imagined. I thought it would be good, but it hooked me until the very last page. I couldn't put it down. There were Avengers references, for Christ sake! Harry Potter references! How in the world do you want me to not put it down. But when I finished it I just........ I don't want to talk about it. A 100000 stars!!!!

Number 7........ Iron Fey series by Julie Kagawa

I read this back when I was in Europe, cause I bought them a little before my trip so I wouldn't be bored. I had never heard of this books, but I had heard of Julie Kagawa so that gave me a little hope....... I devoured the books in 3 weeks. I couldn't put it down. I think it drove my mother crazy because I was reading half the time we were there and wasn't paying attention to anything. How could I tho? If I had this amazing book in my hands! I loved Ash and Puck and Meghan was so badass and the whole bromance between Ash and Puck will never die in my memory. It's a journey to remember.

Number 8....... Monsters in the Dark series by Pepper Winters

This was probably the darkest contemporary books I have ever read. I cried a little in some parts, but it was amazing. It blew me away how amazing this girl who was kidnapped and dragged away from everything she has ever known become such an amazing badass woman. Then again after everything she lived, who wouldn't? But her? She was beyond amazing. I have so much respect for her because people may say that she's weak because of what he enjoys and how she lets him do that to her, but I think she's the strongest character I have ever read in a contemporary romance.

Number 9...... More Series by Jay McLean

I cried since th first book. I'm not even kidding. This series was just tears and fluffiness and tears and angst. The first and last book blew me away. I stayed up all night finishing each book because of how amazing they were. I don't get why I didn't read it earlier. The way the characters tell the stories and the last book oh man the last book was tears tears tears and happiness. I couldn't stop crying and laughing. This is definitely my best experience in a romance series. Almost as good as the Addicted series

Number 10....... Amour Amour by Krista and Becca Ritchie

This book.... Oh man this book blew me away. I feel like I'm saying that to all this 10 books but it's the truth! Krista and Becca will never disappoint me! Ever! The story and the romance and the sex and the couples just the whole thing is amazing! I did a review on Amour Amour last month and an interview and I was so excited for this book it made me want to cry when I finished it! Krista and Becca are my faves and will always be xxo

Well there you have it! My top 10 series/ books of 2014! I hope next year I get as many good books as this year!

Also I completed my Goodreads Challange of 120 books to 122! Princess or what?

I love books and I hope you do too!

Amour Amour

I'm sorry for posting this so late! I'm already one book behind *cries*. I just wanted to plan this to the maximum because this book, even though it was a stand alone, was absolutely beautiful! I loved Nikolai and Thora and their dynamic and how much they loved each other! I loved the characters and the friends and I even gained a new ship! and OMG my babies were in this book. Remember how in the Interview Krista and Becca told us that the Calloway sisters were going to be in this book? Well they were! OMG I was so excited and to see Thora fangirl over Lily and Rose and Daisy! It was like a dream come true *heart eyes* I have so many things to say about this book so just sit back and enjoy. This is going to be a long one.

Captivated by You Review

Annoyance. That is my first emotion when I finished this book. Total and Utter annoyance towards Eva Grey and Gideon Cross. The things they did on this book were absolutely UGHHHH. Honestly, Gideon needs to learn to not stick his nose in things that he shouldn't be involved in and Eva needs to learn to be more compasive (how do you even spell that?). Literally, the man almost lost you ones. You cant blame him to want to protect you. I get that he's doing things in quite a bad manner, but  you shouldn't judge him so harshly. Most of this characters were good but kind of annoying, but in some ways I loved this book. I love reading Eva and Gideon's love story, no matter what. They remind me a lot of Christian and Ana, except for the fact that Gideon definitely has more baggage than Christian. The last book was definitely intense, especially the plane scene, but this book was just Eva facing her fears straight ahead. I loved seeing Gideon face his issues and Eva helping him and I loved seeing their relationship grow and I loved seeing Eva become independent. I will always love this series. Lets start.

When You're Back ******COVER & SUMMARY REVEAL******

From #1 New York Times bestselling author Abbi Glines comes the next new adult novel in her beloved Rosemary Beach series, which continues the story of Mase and Reese from When I’m Gone.
The future is bright for Reese Ellis. She has Mase Colt-Manning, the man of her dreams, and a family she didn’t know existed until her long-lost father arrived on her doorstep in Rosemary Beach. After growing up with a cruel mother and abusive stepfather, Reese is eager to get to know the caring and charming man who wants to be a part of her life. Everything is finally falling into place.
While Reese is visiting her new family in Chicago, Mase spends time with his “cousin,” Aida, who has worshipped him since childhood. Though they’re unrelated by blood, Mase and Aida have been raised to think of each other as family. But when Reese returns, she can tell something isn’t quite right with Aida, who clearly resents Reese and excels at manipulative little games. And though Mase is unsuspecting, Reese knows Aida doesn’t love him like a cousin should...
I literally just posted the cover reveal for "When I'm Gone" and I go to the goodreads page and guess what? There is another cover for the second book.... and I love both of them. I love the country touch, like I mentioned in the last one, and I love how its kind of 70ish. The cartoonish touch, like old televition. I love it. It's a gorgeous cover and personally I'm so excited for this one.

By what I'm reading from the summary, there is a lot of angst involved and I can deduce that Mase is probably gonna be oblivious towards Aida and Reese is probably going to suffer..... alot.

*sigh*

I love Abbi but why so much angst. I can see myself loving Reese and feeling so so sorry for her in this book. And hating Mase a little bit.

When I'm Gone ****COVER & SUMMARY REVEAL****

From #1 New York Times bestselling author Abbi Glines comes the next new adult novel in the Rosemary Beach series, in which we meet Mase, a Texas heartthrob first introduced in Take a Chance who comes to Rosemary Beach to stir things up.
I had an urge to fix all her problems. Which was stupid. She was doing fine without me. But something about those big eyes…
Mase Colt-Manning has always preferred his humble life as a Texas rancher to his birthright as the son of a legendary rock star. In fact, he rarely visits his father’s rarefied world in Rosemary Beach, especially if it means bunking at his vile half-sister Nan’s house—until one visit leads to a chance encounter with a young, gorgeous house maid who awakens him with her off-key but spirited imitation of a country music star…
Reese Ellis finally has her freedom. After escaping a lifetime of abuse from her parents and classmates for an undiagnosed learning disorder, she seizes the opportunity to be a house maid to some of the richest families in Rosemary Beach. But her job is in jeopardy when she causes an accident at the home of her most important client, Nan Dillon. When a hot, half-naked stranger with a cowboy’s swagger comes to her rescue, she’s intrigued—then afraid once he shows his own interest. Reese has never met a trustworthy man in her life. Will Mase be any different?

Its not what I expected- the summary that is. I love the cover and the country touch it has! Mase is drool worthy, but I honestly thought Mase would end up with Nan.....I dont know why..... But I'm positive it will be an amazing story with an amazing beggining middle and an ending that will leave me a mess

I love Abbi Glines and her stories are so beautiful, it never fails to make me cry. I was a mess in Take a Chance, and I was crying since page one, so I'm really really excited for "When i'm gone"!

Toxic by Rachel Van Dyke

Before I start ranting about how interesting this book was, let me just say that this, like all the other Van Dyke's work, is not you're typical love story. This book has some factors that I absolutely loved, some I didn't loved so much. Don't get me wrong, this book was amazing, it just wasn't as easy going as I thought. Then again, when is Rachel's work easygoing. There is Ruin, which as I said in my Ruin Posy, it completely shattered me. Now, Unlike Ruin, toxic deals with themes stronger and much more heartbreaking. It deals with a guy trying to be a hero, and selfishly choosing the wrong options when life is giving him so much more. Its about a girl who loves a guy so much she's willing to take whatever she can as long as she can be with the guy
 she loves. Lets start......

Amour Amour Q&A with Krista & Becca Ritchie!

I am so excited to have been given the opportunity to interview this amazing authors! As you know, Amour Amour came out yesterday, and today you are able to have an exclusive look on what they think about this book.

And maybe something on Fuel the fire ;)

1. What inspired you to write this story?

Krista: Our first trip to Vegas last February, we saw Cirque du Soleil the Beatles’ Love and I remember after it ended, we both looked at each other with these huge grins—just knowing that this is something we had to write about. We’ve seen Cirque shows before and we’ve always been interested in it, but it really wasn’t until we went to Vegas and experienced the entire atmosphere did we sit down and say “okay, we’re going to do this.”

Becca: Exactly what Krista said :) We’d been fans of Cirque shows for so long, but it wasn’t until we saw Love in Vegas that we decided to create a story around the circus. The whole atmosphere moved us in certain ways that we knew we wanted to write this book.

2. Is Amour Amour very different from Addicted?

Krista: It’s really different. The tones are just far off. The Addicted series (Lily and Lo’s books) are very angsty and emotionally-driven. And there’s no large issue like addiction that we tackle in Amour Amour. It’s more about the romance and the circus and the people behind it. In the line of our work, it definitely falls in between Kiss the Sky and Hothouse Flower.

Becca: Amour Amour is really about stepping outside of your comfort zone and the risk involved with following your dreams. If you think about those two themes, it definitely falls in between KTS & HF. And even though it’s not a part of the Addicted series, our style of writing will always connect our books together. So it’s really different but it’ll still feel similar in some ways.

3. How did you chose a circus to be the main setting of this story?

Krista: We just find it so enthralling. We’ve been watching documentaries and docu-series about acrobats and the circus long before we ever considered writing a book about one. It’s the experiences that we know we’ll never have (like becoming an acrobat) that we love writing about the most.

Becca: Like Krista said, we’ve always been really interested in the circus. When PBS had a special on Big Apple circus, we freaked out and devoured each episode. We watched Fire Within (a crique docu-series) when we were growing up and we have this strong desire to literally see anything we can that takes us beind-the-scenes. I think that’s one reason we probably really, really wanted to write something that goes backstage of a Vegas circus show.

4. Is Nikolai very different from the male characters you usually write? Does he have similar aspects to other heroes in you're stories?

Krista: We always talk about how Nikolai is very very different than the guys in the Addicted series. We recently got asked on our Tumblr page to compare them to Loren, Ryke, and Connor (the men of the Addicted series). He’s honestly nothing like Loren. Not even an ounce.

Becca: But he does share certain similarities to Ryke and Connor. He’s very protective like Ryke and very mature like Connor. When Thora first meets him, he’s a complete mystery but very alluring, as a performer—so in that way he’s different from the other characters.

5. Can you tell us what to expect on this new romance?

Krista: Expect some sexual tension, lots of Vegas nightlife, the circus (of course), and some pretty steamy sexy times.

Becca: Also a giant Vegas pool party! We couldn’t resist adding this in there. And maybe even the most OMFG first few chapters we’ve ever written.

6. What can you tell us about Thora James?

Krista: She’s very confident and goal-oriented. Her dream is to become an acrobat in Vegas, joining the elite troupe in Aerial Ethereal. So she leaves her college, her family, and her friends in order to obtain that goal—even though it’s probably the scariest thing she’s ever done.

Becca: Thora describes herself as being “average” in the sense that she’s not supremely talented. She wasn’t on her way to the Olympics for gymanstics, but she has a love for this one thing (acrobatic circus) and tries her hardest to make it come true.

7. When you started writing Thora, did you integrated any characteristics from the calloway sisters, or she totally different?

Krista: We never intentionally wrote her saying she needed to have XYZ characteristics from any of the Calloway sisters. When we write characters, we try to build them from their backgrounds and their aspirations to make it more organic. But we always say that Thora ended up being an unintentional blend of Lily, Rose, and Daisy.

Becca: Thora ended up being a mix of all three girls, like Krista said. She shares a common attribute with probably each of them, like Daisy’s optimism and Rose’s independence.

8. What are you most excited about with this book?

Krista: For people to read it. We’re nervous-excited about it. But more excited than nervous. It’s been so long that it’s just been in our possession that we’re finally ready for other people to have it.

Becca: Definitely everyone reading it. This has been such a fun, addicting book to write and it’s really taken us a long time to achieve this version (the one we love the best) and we hope that you all enjoy it too. It’s a bit scary releasing something outside of the Addicted series for the first time—because it’s going to be natural for everyone to compare them. But we feel like Amour Amour fits perfectly within our work, and we feel so strongly about it :)

9. Anything you wanna add before we close?

Krista: Thanks so much for everyone considering reading Amour Amour! We love you big time <3

Becca: We love you all so much! There really are no words for how much we appreciate your readership and friendship – every reader is our friend, whether you realize it or not *hugs*

10. I know this is an Amour Amour interview, but fans are dying to know what to expect with Fuel the Fire? Anything you can sneak us on Connor & Rose in this new book?

Krista: Sneaky sneaky *wink wink* I wish we had some fun facts but most are too spoilery right now. We can say that some people in the Addicted series might be mentioned in Amour Amour ;)

Becca: Fuel the Fire! I wish we could start teasing that book right now! I’m already itching to start torturing all of you with teases :) But what Krista said… Addicted series may collide a bit with Amour Amour since they’re set in the same world. Look out for that!

Personally I am so excited to start this book, and look forward on meeting this two amazing characters! Nikolai sounds like an amazing man, and some sexy time never fails to get me in ;)

For anyone who doesn't know what fuel the fire is, Its the new book by this amazing authors that previously wrote the addicted series and are currently in the process of writting Damaged Like Us, which will be a spin-off on the Addicted series!

Love is a circus

"Every day,” he says lowly, “I hold a person’s life in my hands. The circus is based one-hundred percent off trust. I give it all to someone, and they give it all to me.”

The best aerial technique won’t land 21-year-old Thora James her dream role in Amour—a sexy new acrobatic show on the Vegas strip. Thora knows she’s out of her element the second she meets Amour’s leading performer. Confident, charming and devilishly captivating, 26-year-old Nikolai Kotova lives up to his nickname as the “God of Russia.”

When Thora unknowingly walks into the crosshairs of Nikolai’s after-show, her audition process begins way too soon. Unprofessional. That’s what Nik calls their “non-existent” relationship. It’s not like Thora can avoid him. For one, they may be partners in the future--acrobatic partners, that is. But getting closer to Nik means diving deeper into sin city and into his dizzying world.

Thora wants to perform with him, but when someone like Nikolai attracts the spotlight wherever he goes—Thora fears that she’s destined to be just background to his spellbinding show.

This sexy and exhilarating New Adult Romance can best be described as Cirque du Soleil meets the steamy, athletic romance of Center Stage.

Second Star to the Right

So by the title of the blog post you may have guessed already what book I'm reviewing today.

That's right...... PETER PAN by J.M Barrie

For the past few weeks I've developed this crazy obsession with Wendy and Peter Pan & got into the biggest depression ever. I cried watching the movie, especially the windows scenes where Peter told Wendy they never had to worry about grown up things again. Personally, that is one of my favorite  scenes on Peter Pan (2003) and that movie hit me so hard I started reading fanfiction, and started crying because not even in OUAT do this two amazing characters end up together.

By about right now you're starting to wonder why a fifteen year old girl would obsess so much about Peter Pan..... it gets worse
We have reach that time of Thanksgiving when my stash of PP fanfiction stops, & I have nothing left...... then I see it. Peter Pan, the book, ON SALE. It was a sign. Of course I bought the book &&&& the movie & now we have reached the part where I start ranting about how amazing and magical Peter Pan was

Lets start.....

Peter Pan was such a precious sneaky little thing. He was always causing trouble and was fixiated on Wendy to be his mother. Of course Wendy never wants to be Peter's mother, she wants to be so much more. But because of his innocence, even tho he has killed pirates and danced with fae folk, he never really understands what Wendy wants, but in his heart he knows is real. Peter doesnr want it to be real

'I was thinking' he said, a little scared. 'It is only make-believe, isn't it, that I am their father?'

Peter never trully wants to feel anything for anyone, because only grown ups felt things and Peter wanted to stay young and play games for the rest of his life. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Lets go back to the time Wendy, John and Mikael were at the nursery, minutes before their lives would get turned upside down...... forever....
